  • I worked with McLean Asset Management company as a consultant from June 2008 to Current Date.The goal of this project was to design, build, and bring to market the first set of radically simple on-line interactive financial gadgets that will transform the marketplace. I wrote a user guide for the gadget, designed and implemented a user experience and user test and formulated a preliminary pricing structure and go to market strategy for the gadget. I also conducted a comprehensive market study and performed a competitive analysis for the financial asset management software.

Major Work Accomplishments

My proudest achievement was achieving my MSc. Industrial and Systems Engineering from the National University of Singapore (NUS). Before I came to Singapore I had a good career with my previous company. My company was among I was able to acquire an account to supply a mall’s LPG requirement. I was in charge of account solicitation, project implementation and account maintenance. This required constant coordination between customer, contractors and management. Equipments had to be installed on site and deadlines for completion had to be met. The mall was opening in 2 months time and problems arose in many occasions. For every step we made, proper communication had to done. Being the project manager, I was in charge for account solicitation, project implementation and commissioning and account maintenance. In two months time we were able to meet the mall’s opening date and resolved all issues involved.

Current Development / Learning Efforts

My latest learning effort was achieving my MSc. Industrial and Systems Engineering from the National University of Singapore. Before I came to Singapore I had a good career with my previous company. My company was among the top conglomerate companies in the Philippines where I had the potential to achieve the best career prospect. When I decided to move I had financial constraints and trouble relocating from Philippines to Singapore. To resolve my finances, I took loans to finance my stay here. I maintained my proactive approach and after a year and a half I have finished my studies and here I am ready to take on what the world has to offer.

Dear Sir/Madam :

I graduated from Duke in September'09 with a Masters in Engineering Management. I am interested in this position as a Consultant/ Business Analyst/ Product Management because my strong Electrical Engineering undergraduate curriculum in NUS coupled with the Masters in Engineering Management (MEM) degree at Duke University have well prepared me to face the challenges in this position.

I am an Electrical Engineer with a Minor in Bioengineering and a Masters in Engineering Management degree and aspiring to a career as an Analyst/ Consultant/ Product Manager. The skills that I possess that directly correlate with these opportunities include creativity, innovation, critical thinking, analytical reasoning and complex problem solving. I possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and superior presentation skills. My TOEFL score is 116/120 and my GRE score is 1390/1600. I took the Engineering Project Management, Commercializing Technology Innovations, Management for High Tech Industries and a Consulting Practicum (project with a commercial company) to better prepare myself for a challenging career.


I have the experience of working in two practicum projects in my Masters in Engineering Management curriculum. I have worked with Southeast Techno Inventures (STI) in commercializing a new medical catheter technology. As part of the project, our team conducted a thorough market research, performed a competitive analysis and conducted expert interviews to identify niche market segments for the product.
